About this course

WebEOC Alerts and Notifications

During this course, a Juvare Subject Matter Expert will present an On-Demand Training featuring Standard Notifications and additional Channels and functionality offered through WebEOC Alerts including an Overview, Key Features, and a Demonstration. This session will cover WebEOC Alerts including Board Notifications, Scheduled Notifications, premium channels, and the Ad Hoc Alerts Plugin.

Alert and Notification Overview

WebEOC supports sending notifications through various channels to help you connect with WebEOC users, other employees, and external contacts to plan for, respond to, and recover from disruptions and disasters.

Notifications can be sent directly, from the Admin Area, scheduled as one-time or recurring notifications, or triggered by an action on a board. Regardless of when or how they are sent, all notifications can be reviewed and managed through the Notifications Queue.

WebEOC Alerts bundles notification features and offers organizations an embedded solution that allows critical information to be sent to WebEOC users and users who do not have access to WebEOC. This information is sent through the standard notification channels (email and Inbox) and the additional channels included in WebEOC Alerts that include text and voice, and collaborative messaging systems such as Microsoft Teams and Slack. These additional channels allow you to notify and receive responses from employees, management, and response teams using a communication medium that is appropriate for the recipient.
