Requirements for Successful Completion of Course: Instructors will advise participants at the beginning of the session that assessments of individual learning will take place during each segment of the class. This assessment will usually consist of the student demonstrating understanding of the material presented by completing a short exercise (on the computer). Assessments can also consist of appropriate verbal feedback from the student indicating understanding of the material presented. In addition to the assessments, to receive a Course Completion Certificate, a participant must attend at least 90% of the class. Our goal is to have 100% attendance. If participants miss a short segment, they will be required to make up the work and demonstrate achievement of the outcome(s) to meet course attendance requirements. Participants absent for more than 10% of the course, and who do not make up the course work, will not receive a Course Completion Certificate. (Participants must address the absence with the instructor and make-up the work prior to the end of the course.) A Sign-In sheet is required as proof of attendance for each class. Participants are required to answer roll call at the beginning of each class day.  Students who fail to answer roll call do not receive credit for the course.
