EMTrack Regional Administrator Training

Performance-Based Learning Syllabus

This course focuses on training provider administrators to manage EMTrack to meet their needs. This will allow them to customize the EMTrack solution to track persons in an array of scenarios as needed within their region using their regional processes and verbiage, including mass casualty incidents, evacuations, event medical tent operations, and vaccination clinics.  After completing the course, EMTrack users will be empowered to perform essential administrative functions at the provider level using the EMTrack Web platform.

During this course, students will learn how to: 

  • Create and customize incident types (templates) used for creating incidents
  • Understand Data Elements
  • Create and save filters to be used for searching and building gadgets within dashboards.
  • Start/edit/end an incident.
  • Add patients to incidents.
  • Utilize filters to create gadgets that are displayed in dashboards.
  • Customize dashboards to display data specific to the type of incident, use, and user accessibility.
  • Understand web and mobile forms.

Prerequisites: For this course, students should have basic computer skills.

Equipment Requirements: For this course, students should have the following requirements.

    • Access to a computer that has a reliable connection to the Internet and meets the minimum requirements for EMTrack hardware and software.

    • Basic computer skills
    • Recommended: Android or iOS smartphone or tablet

Instructional Method: This course utilizes the following instructional methods:

    • Interactive tutorials with Knowledge Checks
    • Final Quiz

Assessment Method:

Active participation in the class is required to receive the course certificate. Students must demonstrate comprehension of the material in each section of the course by passing Knowledge Checks.
